I would love to know the real story, but there was much going on that day. In this little village preparations were underway for a literacy ceremony in which two young men spoke in newly learned English. The chief of the village attended, as well as the residents. Wonderful portrait of a little boy in a land we (in America) cannot fathom. My heart cannot but ache for the little bird....this picture really holds a story...maybe a mystery that we will never know!...fav/v2
