Description
I was getting ready to bake a cake when I happened to look up from my cookbook. There, helping herself to our bounty, was a black bear. I stopped my task, grabbed the camera, and spent the next few minutes with the bear. First, I shop through the window, then, wanting a closer look I stepped out onto my porch. It was then she spotted me through the branches of the apple tree. It wasn’t long before she ambled on to find a more private “diner,” on free of the paparazzi.

This is a beautiful image, Ronda, and I especially love the foliage. From a distance the bear looks like the treetrunk......v/f.

Ronda, this is sooo incredible...This bear standing up and eating your apples, like he owns the place... (and he does!) He really looks harmless here. (I know, I know, he isn't) but he just looks like a cute TEDDY BEAR....this is such a great capture, and in your own front yard! GHeeeze.... F/v
